Crossbridge Capital was delighted to donate two one-week internships at its London office to the Christmas Charity Auction in aid of Room to Read.
As the wellbeing and education of disadvantaged youngsters is important to Crossbridge Capital, offering two internships which attracted 24 bidders and raised over £1,300, seemed a natural way in which to raise money.
Tarek Khlat, Co-Founder and Group CEO of Crossbridge Capital said: “We believe fully in the Quintessentially Foundation and are keen to support its cause. It partners with charities which aim to improve the quality of life for those children who are less fortunate than ourselves and we hope the money raised from our donation goes some way to assisting those in need. Simultaneously, we hope that the two interns will enjoy their week with us and gain an invaluable insight into the full range of investment services that we offer our clients.”
100% of the money raised in the auction is to be given to Room to Read who seek to transform the lives of millions of children in developing countries by focusing on literacy and gender equality in education (www.roomtoread.org).
